UPDATE:

24 February 2010

Mr. Jaime Granados, the IDB Team Leader, said that the list of procurement staff has yet to be released but will be ready in two months. The reason for this is that the project has just been approved by the National Assembly and IDB is waiting for the Government of Nicaragua to include the activities into the national budget for execution. It is estimated that this will be operational by mid-2010.

26 November 2009

This operation was approved by the Board in 23 November 2009. The estimated total cost of the project is now 10.437 million.

15 September 2009

The estimated total cost of the project is now US$ 10 million. IDB is expected to finance the project through an Investment Loan.
