I have thirty eight years of professional experience in designing and managing water supply, sanitation and infrastructure projects, working with USAID and its partners in development assistance
I served as Team Leader for SUWASA (Sustainable Water and Sanitation in Africa) South Sudan project, and Deputy Chief Of Party for USAID/PEPAM in Senegal. I successfully led and completed, in March 2015, the implementation of the WASH sector and utility reform project in South Sudan. My experience also covers watershed development for agricultural purposes (anti-salt dams, retention dams and irrigation systems) and mentoring decentralized local authorities for decentralized infrastructure planning. In addition I not only provided Consulting services in the urban WASH for international development and private sector organizations but have a strong experience in starting up and closing out projects in a successful manner. I am holding a Master degree in Civil Engineering and a PPP certification.

David Lawrence is an international development consultant focused on private sector development, post-disaster reconstruction, and communications. Prior to 2010, he managed advisory services programs in Indonesia, Mongolia and the former Soviet Union for the International Finance Corporation.
In the last three years his main clients have been the World Bank's Multi Donor Fund for Aceh & Nias, the World Bank's Public-Private Partnership Group, and the USAID Public-Private Development Program.
