Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund

The Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF) is a private sector fund aiming to encourage private sector companies to compete for investment support for their new and innovative business ideas in the fields of agribusiness, associated service sectors, rural financial services and value chains which extend from rural DRC, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Somalia/Somailand to local and international markets. To qualify for funding business ideas should be commercially viable and have a positive impact on the rural poor: delivering increased employment, reduced costs and improved productivity.
