The AGSP has also been a catalyst for mobilizing private sector to support orphans and vulnerable children's education in Namibia. Standard Bank has extended its funding to AGSP beneficiaries by supporting them through grade 12.

Ambassador's Girls Scholarship Program, Namibia

The partnership aims to expand the reach of this program to empower additional orphaned and vulnerable Namibian learners to take control of their futures, by staying in school, performing well in school and reaching the goal of graduation. The objective of this partnership is to assist scholars to obtain education in grades 8-12. Standard Bank Namibia has provided $1,371,603 to date towards scholarships for 1,966 girls and boys who are currently in the AGSP to further their education in Grades 8 and 12. USAID supports scholarships for Grades 1 through 7, which currently equates to 503 students.
