Addressing the Needs and Rights of Adolescent Girls

Girl Hub aims to help decision-makers and donors do more to address the needs and rights of adolescent girls. It specifically works by transforming policies to better cater for girls and by utilizing media to communicate their interests and conditions.

Girl Hub works with developing world decision-makers and donors to do more for adolescent girls in poverty. The provide advisory services and support advocacy, involving girls themselves in the design and implementation of policies that affect them. Girl Hub connects a worldwide network of experts and advocates to large-scale development programs to ensure they take girls’ needs into account. With the support of Nike Foundation and the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) – Girl Hub will establish national hubs in four countries by 2013, starting with Kenya and northern Nigeria.
