Engineering Scholarships Offered to Vietnamese Students in Collaboration with Industry Leaders

Australia is supporting RMIT University to deliver Vietnam’s first internationally recognised professional postgraduate course in engineering.

In-country Engineering Scholarships

Since mid-2010, 22 Vietnamese students have been awarded a scholarship to study the Master of Engineering Course at RMIT Vietnam. The purpose of the program is to increase the level of appropriately skilled engineers to meet labour demands in Vietnam’s booming sectors of electronics and infrastructure. The program is focused on developing technical know-how as well as important career skills in teamwork, problem-solving and English. Australia is providing 30 in-country scholarships for outstanding students to complete the two year course. The program is a joint initiative of AusAID, RMIT Vietnam and industry partners Intel and Renasas.
