Developing the Water Sector in Jordan Through Information Technology Tools

Creating a strategic impact on the water sector through staff training provided by Microsoft Jordan.

IT Masterplan for Water Sector

Under the USAID-funded Water II Indefinite Quantity Contract, this partnership intends to empower government employees in making a strategic impact on the Water Sector, including all its subsidiaries, through a training program by Microsoft Jordan. The Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 training program highlights courses involving development, administration, and design. The IT Master Plan Implementation Phase’s financial contribution was less than $5,000 in terms of logistical support that leveraged $20,000 of private sector training, a four-to-one return on investment.
