Social Improvement Initiatives Among the Communities Around the Rema-Kalenga Wildlife Sanctuary in Bangladesh

Together with the USAID, Radisson Hotels Group in Bangladesh is seeking to engage further with its host community and contribute to the morale of its staff by fostering meaningful exchange and improvements in the Kalenga Wildlife Sanctuary.

Radisson Hotel & Nishorgo

Radisson seeks to identify outlets for social improvement that at the same time enhance staff morale and its corporate image. Radisson has "adopted” the Rema-Kalenga Wildlife Sanctuary in Habigang District. The Hotel management and staff decided to allocate a portion of their income every month to the cause of improving the livelihoods of the ethnic Tripura and other groups living in and around the Sanctuary. $35,000 of the project value was donated in kind by Radisson.
