Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF) South Balkan Fund

This regional program was established to provide equity and quasi-equity financing in combination with technical and managerial assistance to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to contribute to private sector growth.

Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF) South Balkan Fund

SMEs in developing and transitional countries are generally underserved by traditional equity sources, due to their higher risk and proportionally high transaction costs. SEAF’s goal is to bring financing to promising SMEs in the South Balkans so that they can grow and reach their potential as drivers of business and growth. It will continue to screen companies and broaden their portfolio of investment opportunities over the next five-year period.
