Job Description

Job Summary

  • To manage and implement benefits programs for US and international employees
  • To continuously evaluate HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, then development and implement solutions

Main Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation. The tasks listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

  • Support the implementation of new, streamlined automated systems and benefit vendors
  • Assist with communication and administration of benefits to all hires, including any changes and updates
  • Help administer the retirement plans and approve distribution and loan requests
  • Assist with organizing open enrollments and educational sessions
  • Calculate pension eligibility for domestic and international employees
  • Work with internal and external auditors to review compliance with company, state, and federal law
  • Maintain data integrity of feeds between CostPoint, ADP, and benefit vendors and complete reconciliations
  • Answer questions ranging from leave and disability requests to employee wellness and health
  • Regularly review and research federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in benefits administration
  • INGO experience
  • Experience in working in diverse cultural teams
  • Experience with actively identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with various teams to create solutions

Competency

  • Ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of HRIS programs - ADP, CostPoint
  • Knowledge of common state and federal labor law principles
  • Understanding concepts, practices and procedures within Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
