Dexis is looking for an Accounts Payable and Credit Card Associate who will be responsible for the execution of all tasks related to the Accounts Payable (A/P) function and the reconciliation of Dexis’ corporate credit cards. S/he will report to the Accounts Payable and Payroll Supervisor to ensure accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to ensure appropriate audit protocols are maintained within these areas.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews payments and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with Dexis policies and procedures.
  • Ensures payments are processed correctly and on a timely basis.
  • Ensures A/P systems and process are transparent, user-friendly, compliant and effective, and that A/P staff and Dexis employees have adequate guidance and training on processing and supporting payments.
  • Performs monthly review of open A/P and recommends clean-up as necessary.
  • Identifies A/P requests initiated but not approved by Divisions, informs the preparers.
  • Reviews monthly reconciliation of corporate bank accounts and other A/P related reconciliations.
  • Assists with audits.
  • Recommends changes to A/P systems and processes aimed at its continuous improvement

Credit Card Management Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Verifies that corporate credit and purchase cards are paid timely and that every cardholder reconciles balances under his/her assigned card monthly

Cash Balances Monitoring Responsibilities may include:

  • Prepares weekly cash flow summary for review and approval by Supervisor
  • Reviews daily bank balances and notifies AP and Payroll Supervisor of necessary actions
  • Shares daily balances and weekly projections with CFO and Deputy CFO
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to handling multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, Deltek Costpoint
