Job Description

Contribute to improving educational quality of the nonschool-based setting programs, the delivery system of the nonschool-based setting programs, and their correlation with employability and use of technology.

Specific Objectives:

  1. Analyze the last-three-year results of the educational services provided under the nonschool-based setting programs and their possible contribution to employability and the use of technology.
  2. Identify aspects to improve the educational services provided under the nonschool-based setting programs and their connection with employability and the use of technology.
  3. Prepare a comprehensive, sustainable, and contextualized proposal to improve the quality of the educational services provided under the nonschool-based setting programs and their possible contribution to employability and the use of technology.

About the Organization

FEDISAL is a private non-profit organization founded in 1992 by businessmen and members of the Salesian Community of El Salvador with the objective of supporting sustainable development through human capital development. The central role of FEDISAL is management of the public policy programs. Its main scopes of work are Professional Training, Management and Analysis of Labor Market, Micro and Small enterprise support, and International Scholarships for Elementary, Secondary and Higher Education.

The Project “Education for Children and Youth” (ECY) of the United Stated Agency for International Development (USAID) implemented by FEDISAL aims to improve educational opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged lower-secondary students and out of school youth and children who live in municipalities with high violence and crime rates and their surroundings.

One of the educational services provided by the Education for Children and Youth Project (ECYP) to encourage out-of-school youth to return to education is the non-school-based setting programs.
