Job Description

RTI International is seeking technical and management experts for the anticipated USAID Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Activity. The project will aim to respond to requests for program implementation across nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific actions; strengthening of the country enabling environment, and contribution to the global evidence base and sharing of learning about what works in nutrition. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience implementing nutrition-focused programs and ability to deliver exceptional results across geographic and technical scale-up of integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive policies, programs, and systems. Multiple long-term and short-term positions will be based in both Washington DC and USAID-supported countries. • • Necessary experience includes: - Nutrition advisor - Monitoring and evaluation specialist - Nutrition-sensitive agriculture specialist - Agriculture and livelihoods specialist - Agricultural economist - Water, sanitation, and hygiene specialist - Health systems specialist - Social and behavior change specialist - Early child development specialist - HIV/nutrition specialist - Maternal, newborn, and child health specialist - Multi-sectoral nutrition policy expert - Community engagement specialist - Gender advisor - Communications specialist - Climate/agriculture/food systems specialist - Food safety specialist - Training/education specialist - Knowledge management specialist - Youth engagement advisor - Private sector and partnerships advisor - Vulnerable populations advisor
Minimum Requirements: - Master•s degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years of experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated technical experience on nutrition-focused projects - Ability to travel to different project locations #LI-IF1 •
