International is accepting applications for the anticipated 5-year USAID-funded
Integrated Early Childhood Development (IECD) program. The anticipated
opportunity will focus on promoting nurturing care for the most-vulnerable
newborns and young children, starting before birth, using evidence-based integrated
programming in early-childhood development to provide for children’s health,
nutrition, safety and security, responsive caregiving for social and emotional
well-being, and opportunities for early learning. Potential roles include:
Chief of Party: responsible for overall Activity management to
achieve results. S/he will provide technical leadership and manage day-to-day implementation.
Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a
relevant discipline (i.e. education, early childhood development, nutrition) with
12 years of progressive experience working in early childhood development,
nutrition, or related fields. At least 8 years of senior-level experience
managing USAID programs required; previous experience in Cambodia or Southeast
Asia strongly preferred.
Deputy Chief of Party: responsible for providing technical oversight and
leading program integration between early childhood development, child
protection, and nutrition. Qualifications: Master’s
degree in education, early childhood development, nutrition, or a relevant
field with 8 years of experience in technical and management roles on programs
of similar size and scope.
Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Advisor: responsible for establishing and managing the project’s overall M&E
system, tracking all progress made towards meeting Activity results,
indicators, and targets. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience with quantitative and qualitative M&E for
international development programs required.
and Operations Manager: responsible
for providing oversight for all finance, subcontractor, human resources, IT,
procurement, logistics, and administrative aspects of the Activity. S/he will ensure that project resources are effectively and efficiently
budgeted, analyzed, disbursed, monitored, and reported. Qualifications:
Master’s degree in finance, business
administration, management, or related field preferred; 8 years of experience
in financial and administrative management of donor-funded (preferably USAID) programs
in Southeast Asia.
