Use techniques of shading, perspective, and color mixing to create handmade or computer-generated realistic and abstract work or images of objects, people, nature, topography, or events.
Use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images. Work closely with the ISD team to layout and design media.
Draw storyboards to guide development during the production of computer-based training, films, and videos. Draw illustrations for use in technical manuals and audiovisual presentations that explain and illustrate subject content and performance skills.
Use computer‑aided design systems and artistic techniques to create animation.
Review graphic materials to be presented and present the information in an eye-catching, yet organized manner.
Recommend which photographs or artwork to use, and oversee production of printed material. Produce media products that make a substantial contribution to accomplishing course objectives. Plan, supervise, and produce instructional media products.
Qualifications:
Experience or related experience in the creation of realistic, representations using draw, paint, and 3-D graphic programs; image scanning, editing, file format conversion, and compression experience; verifiable examples of projects and the individual’s contribution to the project is required.
