Social Solutions International is currently seeking Consultants to provide technical, evaluation, and logistical support in the education sector. The activities will be fielded/completed by experts/consultants. While scope of technical areas in education will vary, we are prioritizing three: 1) Early grade reading, 2) Workforce development (professional development/teacher training), 3) Equitable access to education in crisis and conflict environments. Additional areas of interest include: bilingual education, gender in education, curriculum and curriculum development, reading/reading assessments, testing, etc. All work will be conducted in support of USAID Latin American and Caribbean Bureau and specifically, target 6 countries and the eastern Caribbean Islands and consultants must have experience in one or more of these countries: Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the sub-regional Eastern Caribbean Mission based in Barbados. The activities will range in length from 1-week to several months.
