Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience, professional development, and meaningful contributions to departmental projects in a supportive learning environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct research on issues affecting Muslim communities in non-member countries
  • Assist in preparing and updating country briefs, profiles, and fact sheets
  • Support mid-term and annual program reporting
  • Assist in organizing internal and external community outreach consultations
  • Help prepare documentation for project appraisal and assessments
  • Compile data and prepare periodic/ad-hoc reports
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and presentation materials
  • Provide admin and logistical support for missions and events
  • Draft routine correspondence and assist with internal coordination

Academic and professional qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate student in their final year of study
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program
  • Currently enrolled in a Doctoral program
  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months

Skills, Necessary Knowledge & Languages

  • Research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
  • English - Mandatory
  • Arabic - Preferred
  • French - Preferred

Program Duration

Internship duration: 6 months
