Required experience: Master’s degree required. A minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience in design, monitoring and evaluation, and applied quantitative and qualitative research methods in relation to the management of development projects. International development work experience, including program design required. Must have work experience in the field.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
Travel: Up to 25% of time both in development and fragile contexts.
The Job: World Vision is looking for a Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists to provide technical expertise and leadership to generate and analyze quality evidence and data through establishing monitoring systems and tools, and oversight of assessments and evaluations for the assigned project teams. S/he will work will build capacity of headquarter and field teams on M&E and facilitate learning and adaptive management. In addition, the position contributes to development of project proposals in alignment with donor requirements; and improve the processes, systems and capacity of Technical and Business Teams on program design.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Work with the Evidence and Learning Team within International Programs Group (IPG) to ensure quality project design, monitoring, evaluation, research and learning practices through technical assistance, training and proposal development/program implementation. Key aspects of the role include:

Education and Experience:
Master’s degree required, preferably with emphasis in statistics, economics, livelihoods, public health or other field related to international development. In addition to education, a minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience in design, monitoring and evaluation, and applied quantitative and qualitative research methods in relation to the management of development projects. International development work experience, including program design; 5-8 years. Must have at least one year of work experience in the field. Working knowledge of M&E requirements for major public and private donor requirements (e.g., USAID - Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, Food for Peace, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration; USDA; PEPFAR; Global Fund; etc.) preferred.
