As one of DFID’s top suppliers we need to make sure we are aligned with DFID’s evolving objectives; provide our voice and support to the Department as and when required and deliver sustainable outcomes for people in recipient countries and UK taxpayers.
We are seeking a Key Account Leader to manage and develop this strategic relationship with DFID and provide support in growing our international development portfolio.
From driving the bidding process and ensuring bids are technically and commercially sound to developing strong and robust client relationships, you will work as part of a dynamic senior team on bringing the right resources together to deliver projects that meet and exceed our clients’ aspirations.
This role requires considerable experience gained within International Development with involvement in designing, managing, implementing and/or evaluating DFID programmes. Having worked with senior staff in donor organisations and managed similar client relationships, you will have led the development of new business, designed solutions to win major programmes and ensured successful delivery.
You will be energetic, adaptive and ambitious with a combination of public and private sector experience in International development. With a passion for delivering the Global Goals, you will be able to balance relationship management, business development and technical delivery work.
You will have experience working in a commercial organisation, or in a similar delivery focused environment, with good understanding of the private sector drivers and objectives and the nature of the client/supplier relationship, you will have used innovative methods to collaborate and solve complex challenges and been instrumental in establishing and delivering projects, providing a best-in-class service offering.
There is further opportunity to expand our portfolio of work beyond existing services in health, education, skills and fund management into energy, communications, cities and multi-sector programmes and therefore need an experienced professional who can drive this forward across our wider multi sector consultancy.
