Job Responsibilities –

The Electrical - Renewable Energy / Energy Efficiency- Engineer - Mid Level job description includes:

• Ability to work both independently and within a team of professionals in conducting Energy Efficiency / Renewable Energy Studies
• Collect relevant information from all related authorities
• Review previous studies and reports
• Analyze data related to the project assignments
• Technical review of the electrical design of energy generation systems (solar, wind, storage, bio, or thermal) and their interconnection to the grid.
• Analyze localized grid circuits to determine current capacity utilization and ability to carry additional generation, and identify potential technical barriers to injecting intermittent sources;
• Perform technology reviews for electrical equipment and systems for energy generation projects, including individual components, and control systems.
• Perform detailed technical research related to the electrical design of energy generation projects and critical component technology development.
• Site Visits and Attend meetings
• Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, closely coordinating with team members
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements –

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or relevant field with a focus on renewable energy field
• Strong writing and communication skills in English and Arabic (Speaking, reading and writing)
• Candidate must hold Jordanian citizenship and be legally authorized to work in Jordan
• Registration as a member of the Jordan Engineers Association
• 7-15 years of experience working in electrical design related areas including electrical design of renewable energy projects, and electronic component technology development and/or analysis.
• Demonstrated understanding of current electrical design issues including: appropriate codes and best practices, and construction practices; control systems and grid interaction; and the technical aspects of interconnection agreements
• Ability to work with and understand technical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to related authorities.
• Good Knowledge in energy efficiency and renewable energy field.
• Good knowledge in energy software
• Strong report writing skills
