Job Description

Chemonics is recruiting four Finance System Trainers to support the deployment of Dynamics 365 for Operations to project field offices worldwide. The Finance System Trainers will conduct the implementation of Dynamics 365 for Operations to our project field offices across core business functions including financial management, procurement, HR, grants management, payroll, human resources, and other areas as needed. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting project field office deployments of Dynamics 365 through training, data migration, and change support, in coordination with the ERP Core team
  • Participating in system functional design sessions and contributing to continuous system improvement during and after deployments based on field office inputs and observations
  • Coordinating deployment logistics, plans, and schedules with PMUs, field offices, and other Deployment Specialists
  • Providing first line support and mentoring on the system post-deployment to field office staff
  • Assisting with the development of training content and materials for Dynamics 365 deployments to field offices
  • Conducting remote, classroom, and one-on-one end-user training in field offices and/or country platforms
  • Coordinating field office deployment schedules and completing progress reports for each deployment
  • Communicating and escalating relevant project issues and information to ERP Core team during and after deployments
  • Conducting system configuration validation for each deployment/field office, as well as any pre-departure work
  • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating field office staff on Dynamics 365 implementation
  • Training other Deployment Specialists as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience in financial management, accounting, and/or another related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of Chemonics home and field office business processes particularly Chemonics’ field operations in financial management and/or accounting, operations, and HR preferred
  • Proven ability to learn, understand and apply new systems and software
  • Proven ability to learn, understand and apply new systems and software
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial systems or other business software systems such as Abacus is required
  • Experience with project field office startup strongly preferred
  • Experience delivering classroom. one-on-one and remote training
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise multiple staff required; proven experience managing remote work staff preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, taking ownership of assigned tasks
  • Proven ability to learn, understand, and apply new systems and software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Willingness to travel up 75% of the time for the first one-two years at a minimum
  • Full professional fluency in French, Spanish, Russian, or Portuguese strongly preferred
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
