Job Description

Palladium is a global leader in the design, development and delivery of Positive Impact - the intentional creation of enduring social and economic value. We work with foundations, investors, governments, corporations, communities and civil society to formulate strategies and implement solutions that generate lasting social, environmental and financial benefits.

For the past 50 years, we have been making Positive Impact possible. With a team of more than 2,500 employees operating in 90 plus countries and a global network of more than 35,000 technical experts, Palladium has improved - and is committed to continuing to improve - economies, societies and most importantly, people’s lives.

Palladium is a child-safe organisation, and screens applicants for suitability to work with children. We also provide equal employment to all participants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran or marital status. TASS is a responsive, demand driven technical assistance facility funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), represented in Indonesia by the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. The TASS is expected to run from January 2017 to January 2020. Assistance provided through TASS focuses on supporting Government of Indonesia efforts to address two key constraints in the education sector: the poor quality of teaching and learning in classrooms and schools, and persistent disparities that impact on student learning outcomes.

Currently TASS is developing a new activity with the Directorate General of Islamic Education in the Ministry of Religious Affairs regarding the provision of strategic technical assistance to support the Directorate General in developing their five year strategic plan for education in madrasah and Islamic higher education institutions. This will require the ability to consult closely with key MoRA policy makers, identify evidence-based strategic priorities and align, where relevant, the strategic directions with the draft Bappenas national medium term development plan and Ministry of Education and Culture’s draft five year strategic plan. TASS is presently seeking expressions of interest from advisers with relevant professional experience in Education Planning and Islamic Education. This activity is expected to commence between November and December 2018.

Previous applicants to TASS who possess the requisite skills and professional experience for this activity will be contacted by TASS, and therefore need not re-apply through this EoI process.

* Please submit your expression of interest and CV, before 29 October 2018.
* As part of Palladium recruitment process and to ensure compliance with DFAT policy, the successful applicant for this posited requires to obtain appropriate security and a police check.
* TASS is an Australia Indonesia Government Partnership, managed by Palladium.

Palladium is a child-safe organisation, and screens applicants for suitability to work with children. We also provide equal employment to all participants and employees without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran or marital status.
