The Fiscal Decentralisation & PFM expert is responsible for providing technical support to the Fiscal Decentralisation Unit (FDU) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development (MLGRD) for the implementation of the Intergovernmental Fiscal Decentralisation Framework.
Qualifications and skills
- Post-Graduate Degree in Public Administration or Economics or Business Administration or Tax law.
- Proficiency in English.
General professional experience
- At least ten (10) years of professional working experience with advising, assisting or implementing fiscal reforms and PFM
- Similar experience outside Ghana, in at least one other Sub-Saharan African country.
Specific professional experience
- At least three (3) years of professional experience full time in one or more projects for strengthening fiscal decentralisation systems at local level.
