Overview:

DevTech Systems is looking to create a pool of gender experts with different levels of experience and in a variety of technical areas for several anticipated gender-focused opportunities from USAID and other international donors. Activities are expected to be implemented worldwide.

We anticipate that these candidates will provide technical guidance on developing gender strategies at national, state, and community levels, promote gender equality and women’s empowerment, set gender communication strategies, advise on how to integrate gender into various projects, participate in policy dialogues, contribute to white papers, establish gender-focused partnerships and relationships with NGOs and other organizations, and evaluate/assess gender components of various development activities.

Gender experts with the following areas of expertise are encouraged to submit their CVs:

  • Economic development
  • Environment
  • Health
  • Human rights
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Policy
  • Research
  • WASH

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate level degree in relevant area of expertise.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in gender-related activities.
  • International experience working with government agencies/ministries, CSOs, NGOs, and private sector.
  • Fluency in English and proficient in a second language.
