Job Description

We are looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist to join our Programmatic Procurement team.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with hands on sourcing experience and a strong desire to work in the international development sector, to join a high calibre team in a dynamic and fast-paced, greenfield environment.

You will a team delivering transformational capability and procurement initiatives across our programmatic categories (Construction, Medical, Humanitarian Relief Supplies, and Supply Chain), and a wider function that is implementing a global Source to Pay system (SAP Ariba).

In order to be successful you will bring:
* Experience in some of the categories that we procure for programmatic purposes.
* Experience and understanding of procurement in emerging markets / a very strong desire to learn.
* An understanding of the regulatory environment / rules relating to institutional donor funded procurement.
* A desire and ability to lead and contribute to initiatives that support the overall development of the procurement function such as policies, procedures, and training content.
* Strong cross-cultural relationship building skills and the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Flexible approach to work, willingness to travel if required and the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment.

The role offers a salary range of £35-40K, dependent on experience, 30 days annual leave and the opportunity to join our company pension scheme.
