Job Title: Head of Programming
Reports To: Country Representative
Country/Location: Jerusalem, West Bank, Gaza (JWBG), based in Jerusalem with regular travel to Gaza and the West Bank
CRS has been present in Jerusalem, West Bank, Gaza (JWBG) for more than 50 years. As one of the leading humanitarian responders in Gaza, CRS provides electronic vouchers for food and non-food items, urban livelihoods, shelter, and psycho-social support programs. In the West Bank, CRS supports herders to improve their agricultural livelihoods.
As a member of the CRS JWBG Country Program (CP) Senior Management Team, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of the CP’s programming to ensure the establishment and successful implementation of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. Your leadership, management and knowledge will ensure that the CP delivers high-quality programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of its programming. As part of the Senior Management Team you will proactively manage security and mitigate security risks.
