Job Description

ICF seeks a Historical Specialist to support Disaster Recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. This position is to analyze and review historical data to ensure compliance with Federal, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and local regulations. Provide a regulatory review of case to insure completion. This position is located in Puerto Rico.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review projects to ensure compliance of historical policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with FEMA and State Historic Preservation Officer of P.R. on project related concerns.
  • Advise on FEMA PWs to ensure compliance.
  • Optimize procedures and maintain communication and focus.
  • Maintain, track cases assigned and provide input where necessary in the data management information system.
  • Review project work sheets prepared by FEMA.
  • Keep Task Force and Project Leads informed on issues, problems & resolutions.
  • Excellent customer service skill set, ability to listen and facilitate work to cost estimate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in historical compliance & regulations (Federal, Commonwealth of P.R. and local).
  • Prior experience with FEMA historical compliance preferred.
  • Strong organization skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bi- Lingual English and Spanish

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of smartphone apps, MS Office, Data Information System & Time Management Skills.
