Quality Assurance Engineer
Health and Education Policy Plus (HEP+) is part of a seven -years global initiative jointly executed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Palladium Group, subject to funds availability.
HEP+ creates and promotes conditions for dialogue among civil society, government, and other social stakeholders. Its purpose is to improve access to health, nutrition, and education for peoples, mainly of indigenous and rural peoples in the western highlands.
Its main actions are aimed at fostering the implementation of the legal framework in health, nutrition, and education. It strengthens advocacy and policy dialogue processes in these fields. It provides tools and fosters the use of strategic information for the planning, monitoring, and accountability reports, to contribute with the governance.
To perform technical assistance activities regarding Information Systems, HEP+ requires hiring an individual with the necessary competences to support such.
Purpose of the post
Providing support to activities that guarantee the quality of products created by the component throughout their lifecycle, including data collection, processing, and presentation processes. He/she will research, develop, and implement regulations and good practices in the development of projects, continuously monitoring their complete compliance. He/she will also provide support to any other tracking activity requested by the project, according to the needs identified by the technical team.
Activities under his/her responsibility
Planning, developing, and implementing activities to create abilities and quality culture in the Information Systems component team.
Responsible of quality control of all deliverables developed in the component.
Developing forms, controls, and processes that allow documenting the quality control.
Quality verification and validation in the implementations of counterparts projects receiving technical assistance by HEP+.
Setting platforms, standards, and policies for technological proposals to be implemented.
Documenting technological research processes carried out.
Managing information and documentation created in the component.
Managing Knowledge Management System.
Creating presentations regarding deliverables and tools used for civil society and counterparts, including agencies supporting education, health, development, and other areas related to HEP+ purposes.
Observing compliance of Palladium and USAID policies and procedures in the documentation used in the component.
Availability to attend meetings regarding the Project as required by the Project Director and/or Component Manager.
In charge of guaranteeing and encouraging teamwork and a shared leadership in order to obtain better outcomes in the activities carried out by the Project.
Solving issues sent by the Component Management or the Project Steering and other ones designated.
