Background:

Health and Education Policy Plus (HEP+) is part of a seven -years global initiative jointly executed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Palladium Group, subject to funds availability.

HEP+ creates and promotes conditions for dialogue among civil society, government, and other social stakeholders. Its purpose is to improve access to health, nutrition, and education for peoples, mainly of indigenous and rural peoples in the western highlands.

Its main actions are aimed at fostering the implementation of the legal framework in health, nutrition, and education. It strengthens advocacy and policy dialogue processes in these fields. It provides tools and fosters the use of strategic information for the planning, monitoring, and accountability reports, to contribute with the governance.

To perform technical assistance activities regarding Information Systems, HEP+ requires hiring an individual with the necessary competences to support such.


Purpose of the post

Providing support in administrative activities and those arising throughout the lifecycle of the information systems products, including data collection, processing, and presentation processes. He/she will provide support for the compliance of regulations and good practices in the development of projects as well as in any other tracking activity requested by the project, according to the needs identified by the technical team.

Activities under his/her responsibility
Developing and tracking forms, controls, and processes for the documentation of administrative and information systems production processes.
Creating information systems implementation plans or any other IT tool developed by the component.
Providing support for the verification and validation through quality tests in the project implementation of counterparts receiving HEP+ technical assistance.
Managing platforms, standards, and policies for technological proposals to be implemented.
Documenting technological research processes, follow-up of meetings with counterparts, and administrative processes carried out by Component 3.
Managing all the information and documentation produced by the component regarding both administrative activities and lifecycle of information products.
Providing support in the development and execution of products and tools used, for civil society groups and counterparts, including agencies supporting education, health, development, and other areas related to HEP+ purposes
Observing the compliance of policies and procedures from Palladium and USAID in the documentation used in the component regarding both administrative activities and lifecycle of information products.
Availability to attend meetings regarding the Project as required by the Project Director and/or Component Manager.
Solving issues sent by the Component Management or the Project Steering and other ones designated.
