Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders is Peace Direct’s annual award for local peacebuilding. Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders are the global awards for local peacebuilding. Awarded annually, they offer international recognition for grassroots peace activists in conflict-affected countries worldwide. These are inspiring individuals who are building a better tomorrow for their communities, in the world’s most fragile and needy places.
We are looking for an intern to help with this year’s awards. Between April and July 2018 you will help to run the awards. This will include supporting communication with all entrants as well as helping with promotion and general administration of the awards. Working on the Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders awards is an excellent way to learn more about peacebuilding initiatives from all over the world.
We’re looking for somebody with a keen eye for detail and interest in peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Applications to the awards are accepted in English, French, and Spanish, so proficiency in French and/or Spanish is highly desirable.
The internship is offered for 2-3 days a week in our London office, from April to July 2018. We will cover reasonable travel and lunch expenses. Some remote working may be considered.
If you are interested, please email a completed application form and your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 23 March.
