We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Food Systems team as soon as possible. The internship can be based in either Berlin or Bonn, with the option for occasional remote work in coordination with your Team Lead.
The duration and working hours will depend on your university’s internship requirements. However, a full-time internship for a minimum of three months is strongly preferred.
Your RoleAs an intern supporting the Food Systems Toolkit, you will contribute to the creation of a publicly accessible interactive website designed to help users explore and navigate the Toolkit. You will also help develop training materials to support WHH country teams in accessing and effectively utilizing the Toolkit.
Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the Food Systems team with day-to-day project tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of Toolkit-related activities.
Assist in transforming the interactive Toolkit document into a user-friendly public webpage (development externally implemented).
Contribute to the development and delivery of a concise, engaging online onboarding module for WHH staff and partners.
Collaborate with the Global Advisor on Agriculture and Food Systems to pilot the new webpage in 2–3 selected countries, gathering user feedback and supporting platform improvements.
You are currently enrolled at a university/college and required to complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies.
Academic background or strong interest in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Food Systems, Nutrition, or Climate Resilience.
Ideally, you have previous experience in rural development, agriculture, development cooperation, or humanitarian work.
Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), Adobe PDF, and Open AI tools. Experience in web design or training video creation is a plus.
You thrive in intercultural environments, communicate well, and bring an open-minded, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent written and spoken English is required; French and/or German language skills are an asset.
