Join the Global Fund Fight Against Fraud and Corruption
We are seeking skilled and experienced investigators to join a diverse and dedicated team investigating fraud, corruption and abuse of grant funds. We’re looking for people with strong technical skills who are culturally sensitive and can work collaboratively with our Global Fund colleagues in Geneva and hundreds of in-country implementing organizations. As the outcome of our investigations are published externally, investigators with a proven track record of writing concise, well-drafted reports will have a distinct advantage. The ability to speak languages such as French, Spanish and Russian will also be an asset. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, investigators must be willing to travel, often at short notice, to the countries where we invest. Your experience as an investigator with the Office of the Inspector General will be challenging, varied and highly rewarding.
About the Organization
The Global Fund partnership mobilizes and invests nearly US$4 billion a year in over 100 countries to support programs run by country and community experts to end AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Since 2002, Global Fund investments have saved millions of lives and provided prevention, treatment and care to hundreds of millions of people, helping to revitalize entire communities, strengthen local health systems and improve economies. In a 2016 assessment of multilateral organizations by one of the world’s largest bilateral donors, the Global Fund was rated as one of only three international organizations achieving exceptional results. The Office of the Inspector General plays a key role in safeguarding these investments through investigations, audits and advisory work to strengthen the Global Fund.
