Postion responsibilities:
- Support Sustainable Finance Manager in implementing SINAR activities related to sustainable finance. Support includes development sustainable finance researches and studies, managing engagement with stakeholders and implementing capacity building program.
- Support Sustainable Finance Manager in conducting financial assessment. Support including but not limited: collecting financial data, perform limited analysis of financial data, developing simple financial projection to evaluate investment.
- Support Sustainable Finance Manager in market and policy research including collecting industry data in Renewable Energy sub-sector and Energy Sector. Data including but not limited: investment data, macro-economic data, general statistic data, market intelligent, corporate actions.
- Support Director Energy Procurement & Sustainable Finance in producing SINAR project reporting administration.
- Support Director Energy Procurement & Sustainable Finance in other area as needed.
Essential KSA’s required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Bachelor’s degree and have relevant education background: accounting, finance, business administration, business law.
- 2+ years’ experience and/or exposures in: corporate finance, financing, investment, market research, policy research.
- Strong knowledge and/or understanding of excel formulas, functions, analytical skills, attention to accuracy and detail.
- Advantageous but not compulsory to have knowledge and/or understanding of renewable energy finance, sustainable finance, climate finance, blended finance.
Valued but not required KSA’s:
- Indonesian national or current resident of Indonesia
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (reading, writing, and oral presentation)
- Proven track record of assistance in feasibility studies, power purchase agreements, construction and commissioning
- Familiarity with current Indonesian government regulations and incentives in renewable energy, energy efficiency and other advanced energy systems, and utility planning, procurement and operations
- Existing working relations with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, PLN, project and with developers, banks/financial institutions, GOI, provincial government, and PLN officials, developers, banks/financial institutions, and research and development and industry organizations
- Familiarity with USAID procedures and practices for quality control, including monitoring
