Role overview
To develop partnerships with private sector organisations based in the region with a primary focus on delivering the DFID Knowledge Exchange (KE) grant.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

Knowledge/Qualifications:
* A graduate degree in a relevant subject
* Significant knowledge of private sector sustainability initiatives in the region.
* Understanding of contemporary trends in corporate social responsibility and shared value approaches particularly in terms of corporate volunteering
* Knowledge of international development trends in the region
* Proficient in verbal and written English

Experience
* Experience of new business development in the corporate sector specific to the region.
* Sales/ Marketing experience
* Event management experience
* Account Management experience

Skills/Abilities
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
* Effective communicator, influencer and networker at senior levels, both verbal and in writing, with the ability to provide a compelling case for support.
* Ability to deliver against targets and Key Performance Indicators.
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
* Ease in building and maintaining good working relationships and able to confidently operate at senior levels internally and externally.
* Ability to analyse, prioritise and strategise in relation to donor information, advising/reporting to senior staff.
* Excellent administration and organisational skills with ability and experience of prioritizing, working to deadlines
* Ability to prepare compelling proposals and reports, demonstrating needs, impact and social return for corporate donors.
* Demonstration of the team working skills needed to work collaboratively with others across an international organisation

Desirable:
* Demonstrable experience of developing and growing existing business and experience of managing high profile, multi-faceted partnerships which involve employee volunteering, fundraising/engagement, project funding, as well as tailored, co-creational programmes.
