*Job Description

  • Identify all impacts on land acquisition in each sub project and develop plan for resettlement as per agreed norms
  • Formulate plan towards land acquisition as appropriate and resettlement of communities affected under each sub project
  • Assist Team Leader and the implementing agencies on matters related to land acquisition and resettlement at multiple locations

*Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in land acquisition related activities in urban or road projects
  • Experience in identifying impacts on land acquisition, resettlement of communities as part of design of urban water/wastewater projects and assisting on all matters related to land acquisition, including temporary and permanent resettlement.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Postgraduate in Social Science with post qualification in resettlement / safeguards issues.
  • Experience in working with ADB/WB/JICA or any multilateral/bilateral / donor funding agencies
