Cloudburst is recruiting for an anticipated USAID DHCA and USAID/Nigeria assessment of Civil Society in Zimbabwe. The purpose of this evaluation is to inform Mission strategy and identify needs and opportunities related to the role of civil society organizations in Zimbabwe, as well as efficiencies, sustainability and unintended effects, of USAID’s civil society capacity building activities. This posting is to recruit a Local Civil Society Expert based in Harare for the evaluation team, to support approximately 3-4 weeks of fieldwork, including preparatory activities and results report development after the conclusion of fieldwork.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Detailed knowledge of Zimbabwe civil society development.
- Detailed knowledge of Zimbabwe’s civil society sector and the development context, especially key stakeholders and actors.
- Experience in designing, managing, researching, or otherwise leading civil society programs in Zimbabwe.
- Experience in comprehensive civil society sector evaluations for USAID or another donor in Zimbabwe or the Southern Africa region is strongly preferred.
