Position Summary:

MSI has a growing portfolio in Francophone Africa, and is seeking experienced African international development professionals for a variety of technical and managerial positions. These staff will lead projects and/or technical components, work closely with governments, civil society actors and training institutions.

Positions will largely be full-time, multi-year assignments, though skilled consultants are welcome. We are particularly interested in building relationships with professionals in the following areas:

  • Curriculum Development for Legal and Judicial Professionals
  • Legal Aid
  • Civil Society Capacity Building
  • Advocacy
  • Judicial Police Training
  • Criminal Justice Reform
  • Legislative Strengthening and Legislative Drafting
  • Capacity Building for National-level Justice Sector Institutions


  • Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more of the areas above;
  • Professional level fluency in both English and French;
  • Experience on donor-funded Rule of Law projects, preferably USAID;
  • Law degrees strongly preferred.
