Role
We are currently seeking two experienced logisticians who have managed end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, exports and imports via air and sea freight and all financial aspects throughout. As the roles will be expected to contribute to the identification of opportunities to grow the Palladium logistics business, candidates with proven success in business development will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Coordination & Management (respectively) of the supply chain operations in support of Palladium projects and operations, specifically but not limited to:
* Coordination of procurement activities including the identification, implementation and management of supplier agreements
* Obtain competitive freight, transport rates and other supply chain service quotes and prepare client quotations accordingly ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) as appropriate
* Assist with the coordination of Export and Imports via air and sea from start to end; ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
* Prepare cargo for export and import (air or sea) as required
* Arrange Customs Clearance with Customs Broker for all imports into Australia or destination agents for exports
* Completion of documentation for custom clearance and export.
* Arrange shipment of goods, ensuring that all customs and quarantine procedures and other requirements are satisfied
* Manage Cargowise access accounts and services
* Client relationship management including the identification of new opportunities
* Support Business Development tender opportunities
* Augment the Humanitarian Emergency Response Team to assist in the planning of emergency responses and coordinate logistic support during replenishment operations

Requirements
* Logistics experience, particularly in procurement, exports and Imports via air, sea and land freight movements
* Proficiency in MS Office suite
* Current driver’s license and own vehicle essential
* Forklift licence
* Proven experience in warehouse operations
* Previous overseas working experience advantageous (overseas travel to remote countries may be required)
* Tertiary studies in logistics related field - desirable
* Experience working with Cargowise Software - desirable
* Effective communication and leadership capabilities
