NATIONAL COORDINATOR (NC) - SOLOMON ISLANDS

  • Exciting opportunity in Honiara – locally engaged position
  • Full time until 31 October 2018, with the potential for extension.
  • Remuneration will be dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and level of experience.

AECOM is the managing contractor of the Pacific Horticultural and Agricultural Market Access Program (PHAMA) – an Australian Government funded aid program promoting primary industry exports from six Pacific countries (Fiji, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu). Requirements

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified personnel for the role of National Coordinator (NC) in Honiara. The NC will have a project management focus to assist in the delivery of PHAMA’s activities in Solomon Islands. The NC will work in collaboration with the second NC in Solomon Islands and will report to the PHAMA Country Manager. Functions will involve accurate and timely completion of administrative, financial and management system outputs, while maintaining constructive relationships with the PHAMA team and program stakeholders.

Working as part of a regionally based team, the successful candidate will have sound organisation skills and a proven ability to set priorities. They will also have an ability to respond to and manage program risks and issues in a timely and effective manner.
