R4D is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Operations Coordinator (OC) to join our Global Health Team and provide administrative and program management support to a range of R4D’s health programs.

This position is based in Washington, DC and will report to the Health Operations Director.

Responsibilities:
The Operations Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Health Operations team, supporting multiple project teams across the portfolio. Responsibilities of the OC will encompass administrative, project management, research, and communication tasks. Potential responsibilities include:

Provide support on a range of administrative tasks including:

  • Developing contracts
  • Budget and expenditure tracking
  • Invoice processing
  • Preparation of reports
  • Organizing meetings and events
  • Data entry
  • Monitoring workplans
  • Liaising with project stakeholders
  • Produce and/or edit a variety of documents including briefing materials, meeting notes, presentation slides and reports for both internal and external audiences
  • Contribute to the development of administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective project implementation
  • Performing other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • BA in business, public health or relevant field
  • Two (2) years relevant work experience
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple competing time and resource demands, highly organized
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple competing time and resource demands, highly organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Advanced PowerPoint design skills desirable
  • Experience living/working in a low or lower-middle income country is highly desired
  • Foreign language fluency, particularly in French, is highly desired
