The Grassroot Soccer Partnerships Team (GRSP) oversees GRS’ relationships with a wide a range of implementing partner organisations worldwide, including international organizations, governments and local community-based organizations. Working closely with the Global Partnerships Director and the Partnerships Team, the Partnerships Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager will ensure high quality monitoring of programmes and curricula, develop monitoring and evaluation tools, and support the development and implementation of an M&E strategy and protocol that helps GRS remain an innovative, accountable and evidence-based organization. The M&E Manager will report to the Global Partnerships Director.
The position will require international travel up to 15% of the year.

· Key Performance Areas include:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
M&E Data Flow Management
· Manage data collection process and flow from all Global Partnerships projects
· Oversee data entry into Salesforce M&E system
· Extract, analyze, and present information from database for reports and feedback to GRS and partners
· Conduct routine data quality assessments on Global programs and build data management capacity of GRS and partner staff
· Conduct project data audits on a quarterly basis
M&E System (Salesforce Database) Management & Administration
· Act as GRS’s internal Salesforce database expert,
· Understand basic back end functionalities to modify the system for both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
· Provide Technical Assistance to Implementing Partners on M&E system design, set up and execution, specifically using the Salesforce Scoreboard system
· Maintain and update Salesforce system so that GRS stays on the cutting edge of database management utilizing Salesforce and other additional complimentary technologies as needed
· Train staff as necessary on database capabilities and usage including creating dashboards, pulling reports, and integrating new partners, tools, and curricula into the system
M&E System Development
· Develop a GRSP M&E system that incorporates organization-wide indicators, tools and processes to track program implementation, changes due to the projects, and results achieved.
· Develop strategic frameworks (e.g. logic models, conceptual frameworks, etc.) for proposals, work plans, and projects globally
· Develop project specific M&E tools and processes to track outputs and outcomes including attendance registers, pre/post tests, surveys, and other tools as needed
· Periodically review M&E tools to ensure GRS is employing cutting edge and effective processes
· Develop standard operating procedures to ensure quality data collection and timely reporting across programs and partners
· Support the development of key performance indicators and key impact indicators that highlight the status of GRSP work
M&E Strategy & Technical Assistance
· Support the development of a revised M&E strategy that measures key outcomes and impact of partner programs
· Provide input to GRS management on key performance indicators and impact models
· Use research from GRS and partner projects to continuously improve our model
· Provide technical assistance to implementing partners to continuously improve the quality of their data collection, analysis, reporting, thereby facilitating improvements to their programs
· Support partners with M&E challenges, integration with GRS M&E systems, and innovations based on program objectives, reporting needs, and strategic direction
Research
· Liaise with GRSP Technical Advisor and research advisors in the fields of public health, education, and sport-for- development and ensure their input is incorporated into the M&E of GRS’ programs
· Conduct literature reviews to inform grant writing, program design, curriculum development, and evaluations
· Assist with coordination of internal information exchange to ensure GRS staff and volunteers are educated about key issues in adolescent health
· Collect, analyze, and present qualitative feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders through focus groups, site visits, and M&E data
· Lead or assist on other research and evaluation activities regionally
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· Passion for and commitment to Grassroot Soccer’s mission
· Masters Degree in Public Health, Education, business, social science or related preferred
· 2-3 years experience in M&E, research, evaluation, database management, data analysis, or similar areas.
· At least 2 years of field experience working in health, education, or research, preferably in Africa
· Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
· Experience designing and executing analytical or evaluative research
· Computer proficiency required - Salesforce database familiarity preferred, Microsoft Office Suite required (Especially Excel)
· Interest and expertise in HIV prevention, adolescent health and/or youth development.
· Ability to work with drive and enthusiasm and to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to implement procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members
· Track record of launching and implementing innovative ideas and programs
· High emotional and cultural intelligence and ability to work effectively with diverse groups especially in a cross-cultural environment
· Applicant must be a team player capable of working independently in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Verbal and/or written communication skills in French or Spanish is an advantage
· Valid passport and Yellow Fever immunization is preferred.
