Job Description

The Procurement Specialist’s role is to oversee all of the Managing Contractor’s procurement responsibilities. The position is also responsible for working across the sector to advise on procurement issues, supporting sector-wide and agency-specific procurement capacity strengthening activities, and verifying adherence to good procurement practice.

This position is classified as a long term C4 position under the Australian Government’s Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF). All terms and conditions for this position are set in accordance with the ARF. Further information on the ARF can be found at www.dfat.gov.au/aid.
