LINC is seeking a full-time Program Associate to support our rapidly growing project portfolio. The Associate will provide coordination, backstopping, technical assistance, research, analysis and operational support for LINC’s technical team. The position will support a diverse array of programming in local system strengthening, program design, monitoring and evaluation. The position will involve some field travel to support programs. Tasks may include:

Responsibilities

  • Track and support progress of multiple concurrent donor-funded projects, ensuring that deliverables are met on-time and to-specification;
  • Coordinate project and partner communications and deliverables.
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly, annual and other periodic reports to donor agencies, including program and financial reports, success stories, communications materials, etc.;
  • Development of project/partnership work plans and budgets;
  • Monitor programs to ensure high quality program deliverables and results are being met;
  • Provide support on operational and financial matters to field teams world-wide;
  • Support consultant, sub-grant, and subcontract management and oversight;
  • Identify program technical support needs and, as appropriate, provide technical support, including research, analysis, reports, plans, field studies, etc.;
  • Support business development efforts including recruitment for proposals; proposal management/coordination including deadline enforcement, timeline tracking; drafting requests for information/ proposal sections

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required in international development, business administration, or another related field; Masters degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in international development or other related professional setting;
  • Experience supporting donor-funded projects and familiarity with compliance and reporting requirements;
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; and
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills, well-organized, attentive to detail;

Additional desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience living and/or working in developing countries;
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, and/or Arabic
