If this sounds like you, Dexis is seeking a Program Specialist to provide administrative and logistical support and expertise to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Asia Bureau, Office of Administrative Management Services (AMS). The work for this position will be based in Washington, D.C. The start date is immediate.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative, logistical, and program support to the AMS team in USAID’s Asia Bureau
  • Supports management activities, such as personnel and organization management, security, awards, performance management, and other aspects of administrative and logistical support
  • Plans, designs, and implements processes to improve systems and procedures
  • Ensures records are kept current and are published to appropriate systems
  • Drafts correspondence and reports related to managing administrative programs and issues
  • Identifies and analyzes opportunities for training, and develops recommendations as appropriate
  • Other tasks as designated by technical team leaders
Qualifications
  • 4 years of professional work experience
  • Master’s degree in relevant field (international affairs, political science, public policy, international development, communications, etc.)
  • Proven experience in project administration
  • Proficient in the use of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet search engines, database and email applications
  • Secret-level security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of USAID and/or US Government administrative procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of development programs, especially in the Asia region
