Fixed term position until 30 September 2026
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Nursing or similar health-related qualification
Eight (8) years leadership experience in the implementation of health systems
projects, particularly related to HIV and AIDS in Lesotho, and donor-funded
environment.
Ability to supervise staff, provide guidance and coordinate HIV and AIDS program
activities, which includes provision of ART and Non-Communicable Deases Medicines
and Sexual & Reproductive Health commodities at community, district and
national levels
Key Performance Areas
1.
Implementation and Oversight of DDD Activities
· Ensure that program reaches its targets
· Guide the development and
implementation of demand creation strategies and activities to increase the
uptake of services and retention to care
· Ensure that health facilities’ staff
receive the necessary technical assistance and continuous capacity building to
provide BonoloMeds services
· Ensure that the CDU Call Centre provide
the necessary information and support required on BonoloMeds services
· Provide guidance on tracking and
tracing of clients to facilitate continuous care and retention of clients on
the BonoloMeds program
· Ensure implementation of BonoloMeds Standard
Operating Procedures at health facilities and community
· Work closely with the CDU Manager to
ensure that health facilities and private pharmacies have the necessary ICT
infrastructure to provide BonoloMeds services
· Work closely with the CDU Manager to
ensure provision of technical assistance to private pharmacies to enable
delivery of BonoloMeds services
· Support medicine logistics and
delivery of medicine parcels to enrolled client’s collection modalities
· Ensure implementation of DDD Quality
Improvement Plans
· Conduct site supportive supervision,
mentoring and coaching as required
· Conduct regular program performance
reviews
· Advise on technical program areas that
need improvement and implement the necessary remedial and mitigation plans
2.
Supervision and Capacity Building of staff
· Directly manages
and supervises the Call Centre Agents, RCCE Officer and DDD Technical Specialists’
activities
· Ensure that
all supervisees have received the necessary program brief, orientation, and
the required supervision
· Facilitate routine maintenance of
BonoloMeds ICT infrastructure
· Conduct staff performance appraisals
· Develop and implement staff Performance
Improvement Plans where necessary
3.
Stakeholder Coordination and management
· Work with MOH, DHMTs, and facility-level
staff to integrate DDD services into routine PHC operations.
· Ensure collaboration with relevant Implementing Partners at national,
district and community levels
· Facilitate multi-stakeholder coordination meetings to address
operational challenges and align DDD activities with national priorities
· Participate in the development of DDD Quality Implementation Plans
· Build and maintain relationships with
community leaders, gatekeepers, and other stakeholders to enhance community
buy-in for DDD services
4.
Data Management
and Reporting
· Generate periodic
reports for project stakeholders, including the MOH and funding agencies, and
ensure regular program updates are prepared for consolidation and submission
to the Technical Director
· Coordinate documentation
of the lessons learnt from program implementation
· Participate in
the development of program research and IS related activities
· Ensure that proper procedures (i.e., ethics,
consent) are applied in all research projects.
· Participate in the development of program
abstracts for publication (poster or oral) at appropriate conferences
· Interpret and disseminate best practices and
findings internally and external to key stakeholders including MOH, media, community,
and the donor
· Participate
in grant/funding opportunity activities
