Job Description

Women’s Aid in Luton

Do you have the skills to support us making our vision a reality?

If you answered yes, then you could be the team member that we are looking for…

Women’s Aid in Luton is the sole provider of refuge accommodation in Luton for women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. In 2017, we were successful in our bid for additional monies from the Department for Communities & Local Government and we are now the lead Partner in a project to deliver refuge and community-based services to women with complex support needs, such as poor mental health and drug and alcohol dependencies; issues which can often arise as a direct result of trauma brought on by the experience of domestic violence and abuse.

At the heart of our service is the desire to provide safe, secure and confidential accommodation for women and their children and give them the practical and emotional support that they need to start afresh. Our specialist staff support women accessing our services and act as an advocate for them as they empower themselves to build a new life for themselves and their family.
