AECOM International Development (AECOM) implements the AMAZON Best Socio-Environmental Practices Activity (referred to as Amazon BMP Activity, or project) financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In accordance with procurement competition requirements, AECOM invites qualified firms to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of this RFP (please see PDF attachment for more information). The selected offeror will be required to provide technical assistance services in response to the Statement of Work in Section 3. This procurement will be conducted under a full and open competitive process for qualified sources.
AECOM anticipates awarding a Fixed Price Subcontract as a result of the solicitation. The period of performance will be from the subcontract award date through o/a June 21, 2019, subject to availability of funds, client approval and successful performance. AECOM will select the offeror’s proposal that demonstrates the technical understanding required to achieve the project objectives at the best value to AECOM.
Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers follow the instructions, terms, and conditions described in the RFP. Failure to adhere to instructions described in the RFP may lead to disqualification of a proposal from consideration. Proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria established under Section 9 in this solicitation. All responses must be in English and sent electronically to email@example.com no later than 18:00 hr Lima, Peru Time on April 17, 2019. (This deadline was extended to April 22)
Proposals received after the due date will be marked as late and will not be accepted. Offerors are advised to review the RFP in detail and submit questions to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 18:00 hr Lima, Peru Time on April 2, 2019. AECOM is not obligated to make an award as a result of issuance of this RFP, nor will AECOM reimburse for any costs associated with the preparation or submission of proposals. Furthermore, AECOM reserves the right to reject any and all offers, if such action is considered to be in the best interest of AECOM. Award of a subcontract is contingent upon the availability of funds and client approvals.
