DAI Global, an international development consulting firm, is seeking candidates for various positions to be based in Kigali, Rwanda for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) 5-year project, “Market Systems for Livestock Activity (MSLA).” MSLA will support and contribute to the achievement of this Activity by developing a profitable market of Animal Source Food (ASF) to increase small scale farmers’ income and improve nutritional outcomes by increasing access to, availability of, and consumption of ASF. MSLA will use a market system development (MSD) approach to increase sales of livestock, household income, livestock-related goods and services, and consumption of ASF over the life of the Activity in the target districts of Rwanda from the Feed the Future (FtF) Zone Of Influence (ZOI). English skills are required for all roles.
DAI is seeking mid- and senior-level individuals with experience in the following areas:
· Private Sector Engagement
· Livestock Production
· Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC)
· Access to Finance
· Policy and Enabling Environment
· Climate-Smart Technology
· Gender, social inclusion, and vulnerable populations
· Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist and/or Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA)
· Operations and Finance
Relevant professional experience; experience in Rwanda; academic degree in a relevant field; and previous experience on USAID and/or other donor-funded programs preferred. Please note that there will be a strong preference to identify well-qualified Rwandan candidates for all positions.
