The work will require intermittant inputs from mid-January 2013 to the end of November 2014.
The CURASSE project within the Ministry of Education and Sport’s National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) is concerned with initiating a shift from an old (and tried and trusted) model of secondary education, which was designed for a minority of children in order to prepare them for higher education and public service, to a broader, more inclusive curriculum designed to satisfy the needs of all abilities. 70% of graduating primary level students now progress to Lower Secondary School (LS).
