Job Description

Under supervision of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant – Payroll and Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for the planning and supervision in the areas of payroll, accounts payable and credit card administration, monitors daily bank accounts balances. Takes full responsibility for ensuring the financial integrity of the Payroll and Accounts Payable systems with respect to payments, benefit administration, tax reporting, general ledger reconciliations. Applies generally accepted accounting standards and principles to ensure appropriate audit protocols are maintained within these areas. Initiates revisions to the policies and procedures related to the Payroll, Accounts Payable and Credit Card Administration. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Payroll Supervision:

· Process US, expatriate and TCN Semi-monthly payroll.

· Maintain and reconcile all payroll and fringe benefit general ledger accounts

· Prepare payroll and other Journal entries

· Maintain and reconcile other general ledger accounts as assigned

· Coordinate and monitor employee time submissions and management of time collection software (Deltek) and payroll (ADP) vendors

· Reconcile all Payroll related accounts

· Assist Deputy CFO with annual and other audits including coordination of supporting documentation and supporting schedule submissions to auditors

· Ensure integrity of Financial/Accounting automated solutions related to Payroll and Timesheet Collection

Accounts Payable:

· Ensure integrity of Financial/Accounting automated solutions related to Accounts Payable

· Ensure payments are processed correctly and on a timely basis

· Ensure A/P systems and process are transparent, user-friendly, compliant and effective, and that A/P staff and Dexis employees have adequate guidance and training on processing and supporting payments

· Perform monthly review of open A/P and recommends clean-up as necessary

· Review monthly reconciliation of corporate bank accounts and other A/P related reconciliations

· Recommend changes to A/P systems and processes aimed at its continuous improvement

Credit Card Management:

· Verify that corporate credit and purchase cards are paid timely and that every cardholder reconciles balances under his/her assigned card monthly

Cash Balance Monitoring:

· Prepare weekly cash flow summary

· Review daily bank balances and notifies Deputy CFO of necessary actions

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

· Minimum of five years of related accounting experience

· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

· Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

· Must be skilled at handling multiple tasks and able to adhere to tight deadlines

· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, Deltek Costpoint

· CPA, preferred
